If pallets are constantly accumulating at your warehouse or distribution center, scheduling another pickup every time the pile gets too large isn’t much of a system.
Drop trailer pallet recycling gives your operation a dedicated place for those pallets to go.
The Pallet Squad places a trailer at your facility so your team can load used and unwanted wood pallets as they accumulate. When the trailer is ready for removal, we coordinate the pickup and ongoing service.

How does drop trailer service work?
Drop trailer service is an ongoing pallet recycling and removal solution designed for warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturers, and other facilities that regularly generate excess wood pallets.
Instead of waiting for pallets to pile up and scheduling individual pickups, The Pallet Squad places a trailer at your facility for ongoing use. Your team loads unwanted pallets directly into the trailer as part of normal operations, giving you one designated place to collect pallets for recycling.
Once the trailer is full, The Pallet Squad coordinates removal and transports the pallets for recycling, then replaces or returns the trailer based on your service schedule and facility needs.
Get StartedWe offer two drop trailer service options
Empty trailerDoes your company generate pallets that you want hauled off for free or that you want to sell? We will drop off an empty enclosed 53-foot semi-truck trailer at your company full-time. Your personnel will load the trailer with these pallets throughout the week. When the trailer is full, we will come to pick it up and swap it with another empty trailer. 600 pallet capacity per trailer.
Trailer with palletsDoes your company need to purchase pallets and use our trailers to store them? We will drop off an enclosed 53-foot semi-truck trailer loaded with pallets for you to unload at your convenience. Once your trailer is approaching empty, you can place your next pallet order, and we will come swap that trailer with another full trailer of pallets. 600 pallet capacity per trailer.

Built for warehouses and distribution centers
Drop trailer pallet recycling is particularly useful for facilities where pallet volume is predictable and ongoing.
That can include:
- Distribution centers
- Warehouses
- Manufacturing facilities
- Food distribution operations
- Retail distribution facilities
- Logistics operations
- High-volume commercial facilities
The goal isn’t simply to haul pallets away. It’s to create a repeatable pallet recycling process that fits into the way your facility already operates.

Drop trailers can also support pallet supply.
The Pallet Squad offers a second trailer configuration that arrives loaded with pallets and remains at your facility while inventory is unloaded. When another order is needed, the trailer can be exchanged for another loaded trailer.

Drop Trailer Questions
How on-site drop trailers work for pallet recycling and pallet supply.
How does drop trailer pallet recycling work?
The Pallet Squad parks an enclosed 53-foot trailer at your facility. Your team loads unwanted pallets into it as part of normal operations, and when it's full we haul it away for recycling and replace it with an empty trailer.
How many pallets fit in a drop trailer?
About 600 pallets per 53-foot trailer, depending on pallet type and how they're stacked.
What are the two drop trailer options?
Empty trailer: we drop an empty trailer for you to fill with pallets you want hauled off or sold, and swap it when full. Trailer with pallets: we deliver a trailer loaded with pallets you've ordered, you unload at your pace, and we swap it for another full trailer when you reorder.
Which facilities are a good fit?
Distribution centers, warehouses, manufacturers, food and retail distribution operations, 3PLs and other facilities where pallet volume is predictable and ongoing. If you fill a trailer within a few weeks, a drop trailer usually beats scheduling individual pickups.
What does my facility need to host a trailer?
A dock door or a level spot where a 53-foot trailer can be parked and reached by a forklift, and enough room for our tractor to drop and collect it. We'll confirm access with you before the first drop.
Do we get paid for the pallets in the trailer?
If the trailer holds reusable pallets, they can be purchased under a buyback arrangement; damaged or mixed loads are hauled for recycling. We agree the terms when the program is set up, so there are no surprises at swap time.
How do I get started?

Build a better pallet recycling program
Your warehouse has enough moving parts already. Pallet recycling shouldn’t require your team to create a new solution every time another stack appears.
